The latest scammer worthy of note may not have hit the newspapers with the force that JC Penney’s mistake did early last year, but it seems to have caused a lot more pain on a personal level for those who were taken in. The short version of this story, like Penney’s, is all about link building, with one big difference: the guy collecting the money for the service never came through – and he mostly didn’t give refunds to angry customers, either. The story came up for discussion on our SEO Chat forums. Understand, though, that the scammer himself DIDN’T appear on our forums. As one of our fearle…

Hi, my website started around November last year and I thought it would be a hit! I have phoned around 240 people with lost, found etc ads in the local papers and only had a few people place their adds on my website. I know I haven’t advertised it as much as I should have but I don’t like putting my hand in my pocket. I would like some feedback and suggestions both positive and negative. Is my website ok? What’s wrong with it? How could it be improved? It’s supposed to help people find their missing items etc. I guess if no body knows about it then they wont use it! Please go to http://www.rewardsonoffer.com.au and check it out. THANKS in advance.
My client has asked me to help them market a training / leadership DVD online and internationally.
The DVD has been produced in South Africa, by a professional company and is along the lines of Documentary / Training DVD.
I know there are sites online that will market the DVD on behalf of them, but they charge commissions as high as 70% of the sale. The question then becomes, is it better to market it ourselves on a website and save those commissions, or to go with a middleman, in the hopes that they can address a much wider audience to justify their 70%.
I’m hoping to hear back from someone who can point me in the right direction, caution me as to what to watch out for, and just give general advice.
I just started out with Soul Silver (got it for Easter) and i need a little help. My team right now is a tododile lvl. 16, a hoothoot lvl. 14, a bellsprout lvl. 14, a ponyta lvl.16, a flaffy lvl. 15, and a rattata lvl 2 (HM SLAVE). I would really like to throw a gastly in there, but the thing is, i dont have another ds to trade with so whats the point of having a gastly without being able to have its final form. and there is no chance my mom will get me a new ds when she just got me an xbox. So my question is, is there anyother way i can get a gengar without trading and u can rate my team and tell me to throw or get rid of some pokemon. Thanks a lot and the best answer will get 10 points.
If you are playing a Gameboy Advance pokemon game on a DS, can you still trade pokemon? Or does it not work since you need a link cable?
Preferential trade agreements can result in trade creation or trade diversion.
What is trade creation and trade diversion. Please provide an example of a trade
agreement in the America that creates more trade than it diverts, and explain why you think so. Also could somebody provide an example of a trade agreement in the Americas that you think diverts more trade than it creates, and explain why as well? Thanks!
