I’ve casually run into firefighters at supermarkets on many ocassions and have notives that they’re alwayd buying things to make pasta with. Why are they always eating that?
We at a local level provide a regular stream of financial support for the police and firefighters. Why don’t we also provide an equally steady stream of financing for our education system? I very rarely hear the police and firefighters with their hat out for funding. However, if public education wants any funding at all they have to beg for a public bond or initative. Are implying with our state wallet, that the education of our kids are less critical then the other two public service organizations and therefore do not deserve an equally stable funding method?
I have seen St. Pattys parades where the firefighters march together with the pipers, and I have seen other parades where they march together too. Also, in the firefighters memorials or during a firefighter’s funeral there are some pipers. Can anyone explain that to me?
Need to find a dependable florist in Cape Coral, since there doesn’t seem to be any reliable ones I’ve tried so far. Thanks.
Im looking to get married in Cape Coral and Harbor Point and need a really good florist for my very expensive wedding. Please help!
I was wondering if there is actually coral in the ocean off of Cape Coral, Florida. Also, how warm is the water? Whats the ocean and beaches and city itself like?
Are there different levels of rank and/or salary to the fire department? I used to know a guy who wasn’t necessarily a full pledged firefighter but was emt certified I think (fire responder?). I’m curious to know what they make. Could you be a firefighter even w/o a college degree? Would the pay be less then? I’m just interested in getting into the field. Thanks
this question is not only for volunteer but other ranks (ones that do get paid.)
I wanted to know what it is like now that all of the houses are foreclosed and up for sale? Is the area changing alot? Is there more crime and lack of services or about the same? Looking for someone who has lived there a few years to give me a feel for what has changed. I liked the area and still considering moving there but want someones perspective (other than a realtor trying to sell me a house…_
What are some fun things to do in either place? My family is trying to decide whether to go to Daytona beach or Cape Coral and for anyone whos ever been to either. Which one is better for things like kayaking, finding shells on the beach, natural beauty, fishing, beaches etc.
Thanks!
I have a multiracial family. So when we choose to move .. we did a lot of research, we decided on Cape Coral. Now I’m hearing a lot of Neg. Comments about the area. There is a web page that lets you compare cities.. crime.. population..ethics etc. Cape Coral seemed like a good place to raise a family, but everyone I talk to, says its a bad idea.. some say go to fort myers, others say either one.. Can someone please help.
