Hello from the Midwest!
We’re going to Disney World next week, and my kids (9 and 7) have never seen the ocean. We’d LOVE to take them to a beach, but would like it to be a good one.
What beaches would you recommend that are (A) Not party central (little kids don’t need that and wouldn’t like it anyway) and (B) fairly pretty with a chance of seeing maybe a little wildlife? Willing to drive a couple of hours to get there.
I have heard Clearwater is pretty, that Honeymoon Island might be a good place, and we’re eyeing some of the stuff in St. Augustine, but aren’t sure about getting to an actual beach there.
Suggestions? Websites?
THANKS!!!!

We are considering Tampa, St.Petersburg, and Cape Coral. Don’t worry we both are ready for the hot hot hot weather. Does anyone have any tips for us? We will be 21 and 19 years old when we move down there so we have a lot of work ahead of us. For a project, I plan to attempt to travel on foot from Cape Coral Florida too Detroit Metro Area, I was going to go from the Cape to L.A but I deemed the distance not necessary for the idea. I have traveled cross-states before on foot, but now Im looking to hitchhike with no money, or mobile shelter (will bring one for worst case scenarios) but I am looking for how would I aim to get rides, and which route would you recommend? Would my best option be to head for I75? Any help from experience would be greatly appreciated, please don’t rant. Nomadic travel is a fun experience, and the idea of traveling with strangers and getting to know them has always interested me. Any advice is appreciated as long as it is helpful, not interested in hearing pessimism, thank you so much!

and they could die, before being helped! We need another Hospital

I live in Cape Coral, FL and have opened a virtual assistant business. For those of you who don’t know what that is, its basically an assistant that works from home instead of the office. I am looking for places that I can post my business cards, but can’t think of anyplace. I know there are a few places where you can meet people and exchange business cards, but I am looking for places that I can just post them and let people take them as they want. Please let me know any ideas you have, thanks!

I’m going to Cape Coral, Florida next week for a 10 day vacation and I was wondering, what are some fun things to do around that area? I’m 21 and I’ll be going with my parents and aunt and we’re renting a villa down there. I don’t necessarily have to stick with my family the whole time I’m there but I don’t drive. Suggestions could be for when I’m with my family or if I’m alone.
