I’m planning on moving to florida soon but not sure where. Want to buy a canal front home. Cape Coral seems to have the best deals by far. Not sure why it’s the cheapest. Can anyone tell me anything about the area including why you would or would not live there. Where would you live if you wanted a canal front home?
My wife and i live in the midwest and were tired of the cold winters. Were not originally from the midwest, were from California and were looking to get back to a warmer climate (but not California). We love Palm Trees, the Ocean and the Sun. We’ve looked into Cape Coral Florida and it “seems” nice and the recent HUGE drop in home prices makes it easily affordable for us. We can pay cash for our home there. We have no bills other than our current mortgage of $490 a month (Zero Credit Card debt & no car payments). We in our mid 40’s and we have NO kids. We do NOT drink, smoke or do drugs at all! We’d like to know if Cape Coral is a nice, low crime area with opportunities for work. I have 17 years of business management & customer service experience and my wife has 10 years experience in the field of Medical billing, Medical Coding & even Collections for the same field. After buying a house there we would still have well over $125,000.00 in savings.
We are concidering a move there. I would like to know about the area, the high school, jobs, etc.
Anything you can tell me!
Thanks

Do you live in Cape Coral??? How is it??? I am thinking of moving there..Which area is the most desirable?? How are the high schools?
Is it safe??
Any info is appreciated !! THANKS
I just graduated college and am thinking about moving out to Florida. Nebraska is getting pretty boring and the weather sucks. Houses and apartments are the same price in Nebraska so I figured it would be a nice change.
What is it like living out there? Are people outgoing? I’m a pretty socially active person so wanted to make sure it an ok place to live. Any info would be great. Thanks.
I am in love with mattar paneer and want to attempt making it myself. Can any one clue me in as to where I can go to find Paneer? Thanks!

What are some fun things to do in either place? My family is trying to decide whether to go to Daytona beach or Cape Coral and for anyone whos ever been to either. Which one is better for things like kayaking, finding shells on the beach, natural beauty, fishing, beaches etc.
Thanks!
I am looking for a nice evening hobby me and my husband can enjoy one nite a week in cape coral. any ideas?
I am going to visit a friend in Cape Coral FL. I would like to find a good club that spins house (techno) music and also a gym with daily rates. For the club I do not mind driving as long as it is under an hr away. Thanks for any info!
