Search Engine Land reported Yahoo’s confirmation of the layoffs, and that the beleaguered search engine expects to realize approximately $375 million of annualized savings upon completion of all employee transitions. I’ve notice especially on news sites but even on many personal blogs searching sucks and either doesn’t give you results or gives you too many results.
Many sites either don’t have a date search box or if they do it rarely ever works.
Also forums seem to cleverly hide their search boxes too where it’s like playing one of those hidden object games.
Anybody else get frustrated using a search that does a certain webpage only?
i want to delete my yahoo id
Can you help me to find a news from one of these newspapers:
– THE TIMES
– THE NY TIMES
– HERALD TRIBUNE
I’m Italian and I have to search a news for homework.
photos, headlines, colour, layout seem to be alot more pleasing and captivating than any other search engines – google included. Is this down to the person/s in charge of these areas within Yahoo or Yahoo’s general criteria
Are you a “news hound”?
If so, can you recommend some good online sources for news?
[Please include websites/links. Thanks!]
I had filed a court case more than five years ago. This case had found mention in the webpages of some leading Enlish Newpapers at that time. When this news item is searched through Google or Yahoo search engines, it still shows up on the internet even after so many years. As it is distressing to me, what should I do to take this very old news item which has no value to anyone, off the webpages of the respective newspapers or even removing it from the search engine itself so thatit never shows up again on the internet
Can someboby please offer a solution?
