As Mike Fleming explains on Search Engine Guide, about 80 percent of web use starts with a search. The bottom line is that people are programmed to use search on the web whether it’s a search engine or a business website, he notes. In short, visitors are less likely to click links on your website than they are to use your site’s search box to find what they’re looking for. You can use this behavior to your advantage. what are the benefits of hacking a psp go……………
My current blog is with WordPress and I love it….but I’ve been told since it has a forward slash domain and it’s hosted on a different server than my site, I am losing SEO value and traffic that should be on my domain. I’m not super techy in this regard so please bear with me, lol. I paid WordPress to map my domain to my blog. My site. http://www.jayfarrellphotography.com is a Photobiz site and is hosted with them, and there is a blog button….and my blog URL is http://blog.jayfarrellphotography.com.
Photobiz now offers their own blog platform and they are telling me that the domain would be http://www.jayfarrellphotography.com/blog and because of that, and the hosting being in the same place as my site, my text on my blog would be more relevant to search engines as pertaining to my site. Is this true? Would this be more beneficial than my current setup? If so I would switch, but don’t want to if there’s no reason to.
