I’m running a
Windows XP SP2
2GB ram
Firefox 3.5.
After I turn it on, I only run Firefox and AIM and sometimes the task bar freezes up. Then Firefox freezes and I can’t even get ctrl+alt+del prompt to come up. I have to manually reset.
I scanned for viruses and spyware, and it is all clean. The only programs that run at start up AVG, Ad-Aware, and AIM.
Yahoo does not provide us details as to why an answer was deleted .
Take one of my answers which was reported for some reason .

Okay so i have this pimple on my cheek, its not very big, but its really red.
I have this clean and clear stuff that i put on and it kinda worked but not it seemed like it just stopped.

So I got a call today from a bunch of scammers claiming to represent Windows Customer Support.
They rang claiming that they had received a number of errors from my computer and that it may be going slow.
They said they could show me where the errors were and whatnot, so I went along with it.
So they got me to download Ammyy Admin which allows them to take control of the computer, they showed me a bunch of warnings in my error log then directed me to a website ‘tech34pc.com’ that required me to pay $300 a year for an antivirus scan but i refused and said to call back .
so i was diong some research because something rang the bell , btw i took down there number and everything but i realize it was a fake .
NOW im scared that they might hack through all stuff etc
is there any kind of way to stay protect and know if they entered my computer , im really worried please help 🙁

I recently found out that i’m intolerant to lactose. Right now, my diet contains by huge amounts of protein, which naturally comes from milk. So i have to quit drinking cow-milk. The only option left for me is soy-milk. Despite this, a friend of mine says that soy-milk is dangerous in large amounts. “Soya includes lots of substances which slows your metabolism, and plant estrogens which scales down your amount of testosterone which you want to maintain. Finally it contains ten times as much aliminium compared to normal cow milk” This is his argument against soy-milk.

Well in two weeks im moving to the holy land (israel) and im kind of nervous. Its more like the exited nervous because I have to friends here in america so i wont be missing anyone but I dont really know anything about Israel. Im jewish so that wont really be a problem but what kind of stuff do israelis do for fun and what will school be like. I also want to know if they have Target in israel because thats like the only place my mom will buy groceries from. Also are there rocket attacks from gaza and the west bank a lot because I dont want to worry everyday about getting blown up by a rocket. Thanks for answering if you can!!!!!

I went off of Effexor completely, after tapering off, of course, in February 2008. It’s been almost two months now. It’s been incredibly horrific, but some things have gotten better, while some things have not changed or have gotten worse. My main worry is that I seem to have become mentally retarded. My dreams are to become an author and pursue a higher education, but now I am having trouble forming coherent sentences, and not only can I not comprehend books I would usually have no problem breezing through, but I can’t even pay attention to them. This happened when I went off the Effexor. Is this going to go away and when? Is this permanent? Am I going to be reduced to a complete idiot for the rest of my life? I can’t even write my books or even a Yahoo question now. It’s pathetic. Please only answer if you have been through this, know of any articles referring to this, or have had family or a close friend experience this.
Also, don’t tell me to go to a professional. Most doctors won’t even acknowledge the severity of SSRI withdrawals, and the doctors I HAVE seen about this, were no help whatsoever.
A few moments ago, my computer was attacked while I was simply browsing Google Images. I have avast! on my computer, the free version, and it seems to have protected me. Multiple messages popped up from avast! while I was viewing the image, telling me a virus was blocked. I’m not sure how many viruses were blocked, but it seems to have protected my PC. However, I must ask, is it possible that one of those viruses could have snuck its way in while avast! was blocking other viruses so much so quickly? Is it possible for an anti-virus to be overwhelmed by a large number of viruses? I’m currently performing a full system scan on my PC to make sure I catch any infected files that snuck in, but I’m just wondering if it’s enough. Probably just me being overly-paranoid, but I just want to make sure I catch and kill any computer viruses that snuck in before they take effect. Thoughts?
So, I’m planning on bleaching my hair so I can dye my hair pink.
I’ve never bleached my hair, and I will deep condition my hair a few times before bleaching (I’ll most likely get it professionally done).
I only want pink hair for the summer, though, so I’m worried about re-dying my hair when school starts…
I love used henna to dye my hair a natural orange-red in the past, and I want to use henna again at the end of summer when the pink has faded.

There was a Waterspout were my girlfriend lives in Puerto Rico and everytime i try and call her it says ”All lines are busy at this moment please try again later” I know that dosen’t mean that she’s talking to someone else and it said that,I try calling her again and the phone stays quite and then out of nowhere the voicemail comes out..Now the voicemail just comes out instanly..Please tell me what a waterspout can cause please i’m worried about her thank you so much.
