    The inspired gospel of John has chapter 13 to 17 on the” last supper” of jesus with his disciples. A few minutes into his farewell speech…

    Joh 13:33 [Jesus:] … Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.
    Joh 13:36 Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? …
    Joh 14:5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; …

    Jesus continued his speech with his disciples until chapter 16….

    Joh 16:5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and NONE of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?

    Was Jesus sipping wine with every sentence or was he suffering from a memory lapse?

    Gabby == As I had stated, it was a CONTINUOUS farewell speech by Jesus, almost NON-STOP. Chapters (and punctuation) were introduced by men to made reading easier. The contradict is that Peter did ASK, but Jesus said, “Why no one asked?”. No wonder….
